Using a monospaced font (this is why those fonts are made for) or playing with spacing (condensed or expanded) is the first step. Also using inter spaces shows the the same result can be achieved also with fonts like Liberation ("1 1 1" is then the same as "2 1 2"). Finally, tabs and tables might help get the desired alignments. The requested feature as a too narrow application scope (only numbers) and brings a contradiction (make non monospace fonts monospace) which does not seem to justify a possible implementation effort in regard to the very small interest in its outcome.
