Jason Lowe commented on TEZ-2018:
---------------------------------

I think it's a bug in YARN. I noticed MapReduce history URLs are also
incorrect. For example, after the MR job completes the tracking url is set to
http://jhsaddr/jobhistory/job/jobid, but on the RM UI the history link is shown
as http://rmaddr/proxy/appid/jobhistory/job/jobid. When one visits that proxy
link, the webproxy replaces http://rmaddr/proxy/appid with the tracking URL and
we end up at http://jhsaddr/jobhistory/job/jobid/jobhistory/job/jobid. The JHS
doesn't care, so it "works."

Looks like this is a known issue, see YARN-2246.
