My comment was about preventing blind replace of urlProto with localProto. As
we want to maintain the urlProto we just need to do that when urlProto is null
or "file:". Attaching a sample patch.
Your patch works perfect in all cases but one. When app is run under file
protocol without a specific protocol in the configuration.
