Approved the change.
As mentioned in the closing comment of YUNIKORN-1875 I think we need to be able
to handle more than just gzip. It is really simple to extend the implementation
and handle reading multiple extensions and compression algorithms. Some users
might prefer to use zip or bzip..
At that point we can also handle gz or gzip and pass them on for the same
decompressor.
The overhead on the YuniKorn side for this is minimal.
