I am using mutt. When you do a c (change folder), then = and enter, it shows you a list of folders. When the subfolders all start with a period (except cur/tmp/new), hitting enter on the top-folder will result in showing you the top-folder and navigation is not possible. Auto-complete worked after I read your mail and googled around for solving the problem in mutt with changing the file mask (a feature I didn't know before because it wasn't necessary) > >> I tried Flatten but when I add >> Flatten . >> I get the following error message >> Error: flattened mailbox name 'INBOX/folder' contains canonical >> hierarchy delimiter >> >presumably you used the option in the wrong Store. I tried it pretty much everywhere with exactly this result. Btw. it would be great if Flatten would be used somewhere in the mbsyncrc.sample. It seems that the sample doesn't include all the options that are available and even with that I find mbsync quite hard to understand. I got it working now but it was a bit of trial and error and I have the feeling that I leave a lot of potential behind.
