Does this sound more like the correct way of doing things? > i'm a bit confused as to what you are trying to say. the % in front of INBOX doesn't make a whole lot of sense (it's a wildcard, so it would match for example fooINBOX, which i don't suppose is what you want. additionally, the leading wildcard itself prevents the pattern from being recognized as pertaining to the INBOX, which breaks the special-casing necessary for it). but without the %, the configuration looks entirely reasonable.
