as the manual says, for maildir you should probably use Inbox _instead_ -- that implies mutual exclusion. it *should* work if you remove the Inbox def, but as the manual also says, SubFolders won't work for that box then. so just remove MapInbox, and you'll likely get what you want.

historically, MapInbox is older than Inbox - i certainly wouldn't have bothered adding it just to cover the (IMAP-IMAP) mapping corner case it does now.
