Thanks for the reply Oswald!

Meanwhile I found out that these "Notes" and "Appointments" are only
displayed in the webmail Inbox, but are in fact stored in a separate
imap folder which I wasn't syncing so far. I am doing this now and
mbsync gracefully syncs these objects as well. Sorry for the noise and
thanks again!
