Location: Pittsburgh 6 MONTHS $45/hr Senior SQL Server Database Developer PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop stored procedures Perform tuning and optimization Conduct unit-level testing and debugging Participate in cross functional teams for planning, estimating and scheduling activities Participate in design reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews and documentation reviews Work independently to track outstanding tasks and projects, monitor progress, plan workload and dependencies, resolve resource conflicts and provide status reports to the Director of Technical Support Performs other duties as required BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: BS/BA/equivalent in computer information technology, computer science, management systems or related discipline preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Candidate must have expert level capabilities in Transact-SQL, stored procedure development, query optimization, and tuning.
