Citrix Systems Engineer - 1+ year - Jersey City
Candidate must demonstrate: Design and support in a Citrix Metaframe
environment on Intel and VMWare platforms. Strong Windows Server/Workstation
knowledge. Application packaging experience is required with Softricity
experience a plus. AWD knowledge helpful but can be learned. Scripting
experience or at a minimum a basic understanding of the process. Ability to
install and deploy new Citrix Metaframe servers and complete application
integration. Must be familiar with UNIX/Wintel systems administration. Proven
track record as a subject matter expert and technology leader in one or more of
the following disciplines: Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server 4.0/4.5.
Application Packaging Windows (NT, 2000, 2003).
Basic Duties:
Interface with customer technology and business contacts to define customer
challenges and requirements. Develop/manage the development of technology or
process solutions to meet customer requirement. Providing daily "health checks"
of the Citrix infrastructure and inform management of any problems. Serve as
subject matter expert and provide leadership for Engineering engagements in one
or more of the following disciplines: Citrix Metaframe, Softgrid Softricity,
Microsoft Windows Server (NT, 2000, 2003)
Qualifications:
7-10 years experience in enterprise IT departments or infrastructure
delivery/consulting practice. Of this, at least 5 years of experience must be
hands-on experience in one of the following technologies:
. Windows Server 2000 & 2003 32&x64
. Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 & 4.5
. Active Directory w/ focus on Group Policy
. SQL 2005 installation and administration
. Softgrid Softricity
. Application Packaging Tools
