Position: Sr. Peoplesoft Programmer Analyst

Location: Maryland Heights, MO

Duration: 6+ Months 

Rate: $60/Hr Best

 

Face to Face may be required!! 

Description: 


Perform lead analyst role to complete high-level, technical systems design for 
new & enhanced systems. 
Perform project leadership role on small initiatives. 
Provide technical leadership and complete complex system level assignments. 
Analyze, design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs. 
Develop and modify complex procedures considering equipment capacity and 
limitations Formulate and define system scope and objectives. 
Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans. 
Utilize one of several programming languages (PeopleSoft Financials 9.0 
specifically asset management modules, SQR, Application Designer/PeopleTools, 
UNIX/LINUX, PeopleSoft Financials 9.0 Upgrade experience. Mainframe COBOL, JCL 
would be a plus! 
Provide quality assurance reviews. 
Conduct discussions and/or meetings with IS Management and end users. 
Research and prepare system time/cost estimates. 
Mentor less-experienced developers. 



Required skills:

 

Five or more years experience in PeopleSoft Financials 9.0 (asset management) 
software development and support. 
Five or more years experience in SQR, PeopleTools, UNIX/LINUX, Mainframe 
COBOL/JCL(this would be a plus). 
PeopleSoft Upgrade experience (Upgrading to PeopleSoft 9.0). 
Knowledge of financial services industry.
