Description: Applicant Must have strong PHP 5 (number one priority). Secondary are Linux, SQL, Apache, Javascript PHP scripting is the number one priority. Client is looking to hire PHP experts for a short duration of 3-6 months. Client is the largest, most awarded network in the world . Requirement Details The PHP development team is proud to announce the first alpha release of the upcoming minor version update of PHP. Windows binaries will be available starting with alpha2 (intermediate snapshots available at snaps.php.net). The new version PHP 5.3 is expected to improve stability and performance as well as add new language syntax and extensions. Several new features have already been documented in the official documentation, others are listed on the wiki in preparation of getting documented. MUST HAVES Jquery, or another JavaScript framework PHP5 (php 4 isn't relevant) MVC experience (and/or Design Patterns in general) Familiarity with frameworks like Zend and/or CakePHP SVN (we use Eclipse with Subclipse - experience with these things are preferred) NICE TO HAVES MemCache (pronounced "Mim-Cash") Experience with either JSON or SimpleXML (preferably both) Open Social, Facebook API, MySpace API Additional useful skills (ActionScript 3, XHTML, CSS, Front-End Standards, etc...) Smarty (just need to know what it is, and how it works) Eclipse STUFF THAT ISN'T NECESSARILY RELEVANT Drupal, Joomla, etc... (we don't use 'em) Examples of code with procedural programming = completely outdated and irrelevant.
