Job Description: This is for two positions, so they are starting two people as soon as possible. Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of the institution's information security technologies and programs to ensure the protection of information that is processed, transmitted or stored. Complete Description: Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of the institution's information security technologies, standards and processes. Develops recommendations and mitigation strategies to ambiguous technical information security issues and emerging technologies. Investigates and responds to security incidents at the highest technical level and recommends procedures to prevent future incidents. Counsels departments on institutional policies, regulatory compliance and security best practices, providing training as required. Contributes to institution's disaster recovery program. Monitors security logs and identifies potential security breaches. Leads inter-departmental and cross-functional working groups as needed to ensure successful integration of and exposure to security policies, procedures and architecture. Acts as technical resource to Security Analysts and other IT personnel. Develops and maintains documentation for all assigned projects. CISSP, CISA or other applicable industry certifications.
