Job Title: Sr. ETL Integration Analyst (4 openings) - Oak Brook, IL
Additional information: We need 4 consultants with the same expertise.
Preferably if we can get them from 1 vendor that will give us a price break
since we are requesting 4.
Describe the project/role description and skills required: (Please be as
detailed as possible): Design and build data integration components, including
IBM/Ascentail Data Stage version 8, Oracle and Teradata database views, and
Unix shell scripts (AIX preferred), to cleanse and transform data from a
variety of sources into a Teradata database
Contribute data integration tool and method expertise to architecture and
approach exercises to maintain consistency and standardization within the
business intelligence environment.
Conduct and participate in code reviews and design sessions with an emphasis on
mentoring and providing oversight to other resources.
Minimum 10 years overall IT experience
Strong problem solving skills in complex, multi-vendor computing environments.
Solid oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to
communicate complex technical topics to management.
Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and
facilitation skills, especially in driving consensus among senior technical
resources.
Ability and desire to work within a cross functional team environment with
people from multiple business units, countries and cultures.
2+ years developing data manipulation and management components with a
combination of EAI tools, ETL tools and procedural languages in a large scale
Data Warehouse initiatives
1-3 year experience with DataStage Enterprise Edition (version 8)
2+ years Teradata Development and database experience
