I got an update on the SAP opening in Chicago but I still need to have someone
they can hire. Do you have anyone with SAP BI Portal implementation
experience?
Want to turn around positions quickly so not doing 48 window - will start
moving forward right away
By Monday they have committed to 48 hour window to review and decide on
interviews or decline (Wednesday)
Runs the SAP Basis team -
Person to join team to implement from the Basis view the SAP BI solution
- they don't have the SAP BI and Portal tool so he needs at least 3
implementations under his belt to advice and help the team implement, full
motion of installation, configuration from Basis point of view - patch
implementation, performance tuning, updates, etc.
Must have the knowledge and knows what is needed to guide the team. No
learning on the ground - this person needs to be the SME.
Not using the product right now - looking at 7.0 version to reside using
SAP Netweaver infrastructure in AIX 5.3 environment (IBM version) with Oracle
10g database platform
Some direct Oracle integration, but mostly external sources for the BI
solution and pulled through with flat files - only direct is SAP ERP solution
that has already been implemented
at least a 5 system landscape - 2 different test systems, one development
and one production
