Position: SQL/Oracle DBA Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 9-12 months Rate:45/hr FTF will be reqd. ITIL is must have DESCRIPTION Experience with SQL Server and Oracle database installation and administration is a must. Experience with data warehousing is required. Experience with data modeling (logical and physical data models) is required Experience with ETL processes is a must. Experience with database programming and complex SQL is required. Experience with developing and implementing Configuration Management processes and tools based on the ITIL framework is desired. Experience conducting requirements analysis activities to develop database schemas is required. Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical. Candidate must be able to effectively interact with all levels of customer staff, and be able to flourish in a government contract setting. Candidate should be able to adapt to a changing environment. Additional skills Experience with Government Contracts is a plus. Education An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field, or equivalent work experience.
