Position: Cognos/Crystal Reports Developer Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 18 Months Rate: ALAP Description/ Scope of Services: · Consultant position requires strong analytical and architectural skills with emphasis on generating reporting solutions to business problems. · Must have experience converting Crystal reports into Cognos reporting. · Must be comfortable and experienced with requirements gathering and have an understanding of database design using MS SQL Server 2000/2005. · Extensive knowledge of Crystal Reports and ability to implement Crystal reports solutions in windows as well as web environment using Crystal Reports Parallel server. · Experience with and knowledge of Cognos Reporting, including Cognos Framework Manager, Reporting Studio and Query Studio. · Ability to implement Cognos reports solutions in windows as well as web environment. Experience with creating DTS/SSIS Packages for relational databases, writing complex Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers and User Defined Functions. · Position needs strong understanding of T-SQL and SQL Server 2005. Must be able to prepare scripts for stress testing and perform load balancing analysis for high concurrent Reporting usage. Must be able to gather requirements from client and create specifications for the development team. · Experience in performing regression testing and excellent documentation and verbal communication skills are required.
