JOB QUALIFICATIONS: " Configuring Solaris servers in the data center to include performance tuning and optimizing the Solaris servers when required. " Solaris 10 operating system. " Configuring storage, SAN, CPU and RAM for maximum utilization and performance. " Solid understanding of virtualization. " Installed and configured web-servers, applications, databases and APIs in Unix environment. Need to very strong communicator, ability to interact professionally with the customer, manage to a project schedule and think outside the box. Candidate will be able to work independently in project data center; will maintain and configure components according to LM and industry best practice; is cognizant of security; will leverage knowledge and experience with wide variety of technologies to help project achieve goals, crucial milestones and requirements; is innovative and able to formulate and deploy technological solutions to complex business problems; will ensure that data center is compliant with any security/customer requirements; knowledge of 3-Tier architecture a plus.
