Skills for this include knowledge of graphic design software, and knowledge of web design coding utilizing HTML, CSS and some XML and JavaScript languages. - Drive project initiatives, as well as provide technical oversight, communicate technical decisions and processes. - Determine site problems and coordinate creative solutions which do not always have a precedent; develop and/or modify and adapt systems, configurations and programs to meet individually specified needs. - Assist in the planning, development and maintenance of OU's online presence by specifying, developing, debugging, converting and modifying Web applications using a range of programming languages. Develop robust and reusable templates and components for the oZONE student portal and campus-wide content management system. - Work closely with campus departments and participate in the development of proposals consisting of objectives, scope and expectations delivering excellent customer service. - Prepare and give presentations and training. - Utilize industry recognized Web standards to meet current accessibility requirements and recommendations. Assure forward compatibility with emerging web technologies. - Proven ability to work with all members of a diverse project team ** *JOB REQUIREMENTS:* - Advanced Web design and application coding utilizing HTML, CSS and DHTML. - Ability to drive project initiatives, as well as provide technical architecture oversight, communicate technical decisions and processes. - Ability to determine site problems and coordinate hardware and/or software solutions which do not always have a precedent. - Ability to develop and/or modify and adapt systems, configurations and programs to meet individually specified needs. - Ability to manipulate the layout, visual appearance and usability of web applications and portal user interfaces. - Must be able to prepare and give presentations and training. - Must have strong interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to work with all members of a diverse project team. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational skills including time management and prioritization. - Attention to detail. ** *PREFERENCES:* - Channel development using Java and graphic design software - AJAX, XML and JavaScript languages - Experience in layout and usability with portals, intranets, and extranets - Experience in Database connectivity with Oracle 9i/10g a plus *With Regards * *Ravi.* IT Recruiter Supremesoft Corporation.
