Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Position Description: SAS Administrator: Responsible for the administration of a variety of SAS products. Coordinates configuration, installation and general troubleshooting of updates, patches and upgrades of SAS software with users. Recommend environment and configuration enhancements that will improve SAS performance. Educate users on SAS tools and best practices as well as new SAS 9 features. Works with end-users to automate SAS processes including dataset layout, data security, audit, cleanup, backups, archiving, execution schedules and application recovery. Conducts impact analysis for new large SAS routines within the environment. Duties include involvement in planning, coordinating and implementing new releases and system enhancements. Manage daily production problems, ensuring effective and timely resolution and communications to the customer. Participate in the analysis, design and implementation of new products or business initiatives.
