*Job Title : .Net DeveloperLocation : Chicago, IL(Libertyville)Duration : 3-6+Months(Possible Extension)* *One Phone and Face to Face Interview* *Job Description:* The Application Support Specialist will be responsible for debugging, documenting, and deploying software applications, including interface components, graphical screens, reports, and high-level logic for system control. The individual in this position will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and will also be responsible for software deployment and support for new and existing applications. In addition, this individual will work closely with the entire application development team to ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements. Last but not least, this individual will work closely with other teams (UNIX, Windows server, Database, Desktop, Test team etc) within IT Operations. *Specialized skills, knowledge or certifications unique to this role* Experience in Information Technology with demonstrated experience in application support Strong technical knowledge in Informatica. ASP.Net experience using C# within Visual Studio.Net Strong understanding of the .Net framework, XML, web services and real-time applications knowledge with Oracle and MS SQL Server as data source Strong technical knowledge in Objected Oriented methodologies, design and implementation. Experience with 2-3 tiered environments preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Development tool sets Experience in performing root cause analysis. Expertise in Oracle and Sybase database scripting.
