Lab Admin San Jose, CA 6 months+ We have a need for a Lab Admin who will *setup*, own and administer the QA lab. This person will be responsible for ongoing maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting and support of this lab; work closely with Solution QA and Engineering teams to design/implement/maintain/upgrade lab per changing requirements; maintain lab configuration, reservation system and work with IT/infra support to escalate and resolve lab related global issues. * 5+ years of experience in setting up and administering enterprise server infrastructure components based on Linux, VMWare, Windows, etc. * 5+ years of experience in implementing networking that mimics typical enterprise and solution deployment environments * 3+ years of experience of enterprise software implementation and customization such as web servers, application servers, database * Expert in setting up access and security infrastructure such as using ssh, vnc, ftp, gateway, proxy, etc. * CCNA/CCNP certification desirable * Ability to troubleshoot networking, server and application level issues * Desirable 1+ years of experience in implementing digital video head end, VoD, VoIP and content delivery environments * Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and fix all solution related issues in the lab * Good working knowledge of network security, firewall, access list setup and familiar with Cisco networking equipment Best Regards Sam Beta Soft Systems, Inc. |Work – 510-744-1700 ext-303|Fax- 1-800-368-1322| |[email protected] or [email protected] | " A player that makes a team great is more valuable than a great player." -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
