*Location: Birmingham, AL*
*Duration: 8+ months*
Qualifying Notes:
Notes:
Taking 7 mainframe apps and putting them in to 1 large Java application.
They’ve been coding on this already for a year, and anticipate continuing
to develop it until May ’13. The application handles Group Benefits for
them and has lots of tabbing, functions, etc.
5 Senior FTE Java Developers on the team. Need this resource to be senior
level and confident in his/her abilities.
Development Methodology: Waterfall (Builds every 6 months)
*Must Have’s:*
*Core Java*
*Struts 2.0 (Just having Struts 1x will not suffice at all)*
*HTML*
*JSP*
*Either RAD7 or Eclipse*
*SQL/RDBMS (SQL/DB2 preferred)*
Detailed Description:
*Minimum required experience:***
· Java
· HTML
· CSS
· Familiarity with web application architecture
· Struts – Struts 2 is preferred, but Struts at least
· JSPs
· AJAX
Experience in these technologies would be helpful:
· myBATIS
· Spring
· DB2
· WebSphere
· RAD development environment
One of the positions we are looking for is someone who could be
considered a JavaScript “guru” to help us with our highly complex screens.
One or two of the positions should be back-end relational database
“gurus.” DB2 would be preferable, but we need people who understand
complex relational database design and the best methods to access these.
