*Role - Windows Application Developer* *Location - Princeton, NJ* *Duration - 6+ Months* A Software firm is presently looking for a *Windows Application Developer* with 5-7 years of *Unity or Universal Windows Platform experience* to add to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a *senior level resource to come in and work on a project from the ground up.* Looking for someone senior with at least 5-7 years of experience with either Universal Windows Platform or Unity Development. Our clients' language system is built in Java and currently has 2 code bases - Android and Desktop Java. They run the language system on 2 Android tablets and the PC (Windows 10). They are looking to move towards an all Windows hardware option for the 3 different form factors. The OS on the hardware is Windows 10. They are looking to port their language system software on to either Unity or Universal Windows platform. Candidate can work onsite in Princeton. They may consider a remote candidate as well. They need this person to work with the onsite team during the build out phase. Experience required: We are looking for someone with expertise and experience with either Unity or the Universal Windows Platform (will work with the existing team of 2 software engineers and a QA analyst to help with the rewrite of the software for one of these platforms.) The language system software includes the following: 1. A largely grid based UI with each item performing a different action on click or tap. The actions include playing a sound, video, show a photo or a paint application screen and navigating to a different page depending on the type of item. 2. The software must be responsive to touch and will have to work on tablets as well as the PC. 3. Support text to speech using the IVONA text to speech engine. 4.
