- Strong Transact-SQL required with deep experience working on data-related issues. - Ability to read complex SQL and write complex stored procedures as necessary to meet business requirements. - Knowledge of performance tuning, include query optimization, caching strategies, minimizing blocking. - Sybase / SQL knowledge including data modeling and writing stored procedures. - Perl knowledge (using Sybase libraries) is plus to have. - Experience preferred in Financial/Brokerage industry.
