The web based communication software integrates the variety of services like phone, fax, web collaboration, meeting, video into one unified platform. *The candidate is expected to be proficient in the following areas:* - Good Object Oriented design and implementation (5+ years) - Deep knowledge in using J2SE (5+ years) & Sound knowledge in release 1.5 - Deep knowledge in using J2EE (4+ years) & proficiency in web MVC frameworks - Hands on working knowledge with XML and related technologies (3+ years) - Good understanding and working knowledge of relational databases. - Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills. - Ability to willingness to learn new technologies. - Demonstrate good leadership skills. - Familiarity with media streaming technologies (SIP, RTP, RTMP, RTSP) and/or good knowledge of TCP/IP APIs (HTTP, Plain sockets, TCP vs UDP – unicast, multicast or broadcast) is a plus but not required. The Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining existing web applications with a primary focus on the database development effort and support Java web development. The Software Engineer will understand various subsystems that are part of the existing Client ecosystem. We are looking for a seasoned developer who has solid development background, strong technical skills, depth in database experience with Java programming skills and optimization and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Java programmer with Oracle DB experience. *The candidate is expected to be proficient in the following areas:* - Analyze complex data and product requirements. - Responsible for the design and development of various data models from heterogeneous environments. - Design and development of data transformation scripts. - Understand data optimization for application access. - Understand flexible design and scalability concepts. - Responsible for source system analysis, data modeling and data mapping documents. - Understand database Tuning concepts. - Hands on working knowledge of J2EE technologies - Proficiency with IDE-based development, especially in Eclipse, Netbeans is required *Minimum requirements:* - Hands on experience in writing complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures. - 3+ years of hands-on working knowledge in Oracle 9i (or higher). - 3+ years of hands-on working knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or higher) and MySQL 4.x or higher. - Support Java web development using JSP, Servlet, Struts, Richfaces, HTML, CSS & Multi threaded java programming - Shell scripting for data manipulation is a plus - 5-7 years of working experience IT industry.
