Administration of AIX in virtualization environment. Configuring and administration of LPAR, DLPAR, HMC, etc for Critical production and Pre- Production Servers in virtual environment Provides support for LVM, Maintaining OS backup, Technology level up gradation, LUN Assignment Experience on AIX 6.x, AIX 5.2 & AIX 5.3. Experience in LVM And Clusters Knowledge of server installation and recovery, LVM concepts, backups, network concepts-NIS, NFS, TCPIP, routing. Knowledge on HACMP and logical partitioning desirable Administer Data center with 24* 7 support for Unix (AIX) Boxes with HACMP Clusters. Installation, Configuration, Performance monitoring in production servers. Backing up & Restoring File System on a Regular Schedule through tools like IBM TSM. Scheduling jobs. Working and troubleshooting on day-to-day problems via opening and closing tickets. Participating in change record meeting and approving changes Technical Skills. Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
