iText supports AFM/PFB fonts. Remember you customer that if Adobe issued
those patches was because the Acrobat version was buggy. Tailoring the PDF
to the bugs of the viewer is a bad precedent and it's not guaranteed to work
with all the versions. I also know that technical reality has little to do
with deployment politics...
