Acrobat Reader 5.0 had a LOT of bugs - that's why there was a 5.0.5, and then later a 5.1.


The current version is 6.0.

acrobat is a plugin as well for IE as for NS too ...

Acrobat is NOT a plugin - it's a stand alone application.


There is, however, a PDF plugin for the both IE and NS - BUT since the plugin architecture is different between the two browsers there are two versions of the plugin and they work differnetly.
