Hi leonard, It does not seem to matter which OS, printer or Acrobat version is used. What DOES matter is that you use Acrobat. If you use GSview then the size is reduced to what is normal for the original file. Anyway we solved the problem by replacing the text (which was actually a watermark) by a gif file. Files end up a bit bigger, but as they are printed and not saved, this is not relevant.
