It does not seem to matter which OS, printer or Acrobat version is used. What DOES matter is that you use Acrobat. If you use GSview then the size is reduced to what is normal for the original file.
I find that hard to believe...
Have you tried the latest Acrobat 6? Have you verified that the printer drivers for each printer is current? Have you verified that each system is using the same Print configuration?
