sorry for asking an off-topic question: Are there any tools other than Acrobat Reader and Ghostscript which print PDF or at least render it into a printable format such as PCL or PS?
Printing PDF is a complex process - usually involving not only conversion to PS or PCL, but also having to render to raster image.
It should be a command line tool or even better an easy-to-use Java library.
What OS platform?
What type(s) of printers will you be going to?
