I need help. I am trying to convert a 132 column text file (report) which is generated by an old application, to a PDF file. When viewing the text document/report on Wordpad, it displays perfect and all coumns are aligned perfectly. However, after converting it to PDF using the sample Java code (Chap0101.java), I do not get the same perfect alignment in the PDF format. The columns are somehow skewed by few characters, however still readable, but not a perfect result and will not be accepted by the user. What am I misssing ? Do I need to use a Table ? or what ? Please help.
