sure, but i dont wont to transfer any pdf directly to the user.
Of course you do - since if you don't transfer the file, the browser can't display anything.
And if the user has their browser configured to NOT do in-browser viewing OR if they are using Mac OS X (which doesn't even offer in-browser viewing) then they will ALWAYS have the PDF downloaded.
