[iText-questions] iText to Convert Files to PDF

Dear iText list members,
 
    I went to iText site. My requirement is to convert any file to PDF. It may be DOC (MSWord), JPG, BMP or PDF. I want to convert all these types of documents to PDF and I want to put encryption to the generated PDF. This is really important to me and I have to apply it as a solution for one of my clients in J2EE environment.
 
I would greatly appreciate if you can let me know whether I can use iText to convert these types of files to PDF.
