Hi

Short version:
Can we force a PDF to be printed with the embedded font?

Long version:
We're using iText to create permits which are then either printed or
attached to emails and emailed. We carefully selected a slightly
unusual TrueType (public domain) font, the resultant document is
obviously using a particular font, instead of a common font found on all
machines. We embed the font in the PDF.

We do have one user, who, upon receipt of the email, prints the PDF,
presumably via Adobe Reader, and the embedded font is NOT used.
Instead, it seems like simple Arial, or Helvetica sans-serif. Such
permits are obviously different than they should be and may well be
interpreted as invalid or forged. We believe that they may be using a
printer driver setting which allows substitution of fonts, instead of
downloading them to the printer. Is there any way that we can ensure
that the document is printed with the font which we embedded?

Thanks in advance
