Can we force a PDF to be printed with the embedded font?
It WILL be printed with the embedded font - PROVIDED that your embedded font does NOT use the same name as a standard font present on the printer (in which case, the printer is fully w/in its rights to use the local version if it chooses).
This is one reason you should NEVER create a custom font with the same name as a standard font - ALWAYS give the font its own name...
If, however, your font has its own name - then it will print using that font in all cases.
We do have one user, who, upon receipt of the email, prints the PDF, presumably via Adobe Reader, and the embedded font is NOT used.
What version of Reader on what OS platform to what type of printer?
