I was hopping that Itext and the PDF spec could determine that the overlays
been added were almoust identical and only add the differnces. :-)

I'll split the ovelay in two pieces and work it that way.

         And that's to be expected, of course - you are either using one 
set of data or one set PER PAGE...

         Two overlays - one static and one dynamic sounds like a good 
approach to me.
