Many thanks for your prompt reply! I've got it working based on your suggestion and disabling the annotation border. It just seems that the effect of setting the highlighting to "toggle" is the same as setting it to "none". This was tested in Acrobat 5 and Adobe Reader 6.

You can put any number of activation areas in an image or anything else, it doesn't depend on content. To do that use a link annotation and set the highligting to none. Other option is to use an icon only pushbutton with a submit type of map. In this case the clicking coordinates will also be sent to the url.

Hi All,
I like to find some references on how to create a PDF page that contains a number of hyper links on one single image. I was able to make use of annotations to create 1 hyper link on an image, but was unable to separate the image into regions and tag a unique hyperlink to each region.
I also tried to create different rectangles on the full-page image and was able to assign different URL to the rectangles, but I can't make the rectangles invisible. Is it possible to hide the lines of the rectangles?
Another possibility was to create a table using the full-page image as a background, but it seems to be more difficult to archive the result.
Thanks and Regards, Enoch
