Thank you for your answers. Do you mean following the steps below I can keep the fields (such as buttons, text field) in the final document, but except of the signature field, it will become a red cross? But why the signature field can't be correctly merged? Is it reasonable or just iText doesn't support it currently? (I don't know much about the complicated signature things) Thanks, Lucinda
