I have read your question superficially and it seems off-topic to me. You write that something works with most versions of Acrobat and Adobe Reader, except for one specific version. To me, it looks as if you are describing a bug in one specific version of Adobe Reader. In that case, it's not an iText problem. That can explain why nobody is answering.
