We are using Adobe
5.0.5 and just upgraded to iText 1.3.0 jar from iText 0.99 jar to fix a
problem with form flattening (which worked well). However, it's created a new
problem for users where we have an existing pdf form with combo box with an
export value different than the display value.
With iText 0.99 jar,
the export value was being displayed on the flattened form which was desired
result.
After recompiling
with iText 1.3.0 jar, the display value is being displayed on the flattened form
instead of the export value.
We have tried
recompiling with iText 1.6 just to see if the latest jar might possibly fix our
problem, but it didn't make any difference. We've also tested the
application on Adobe 7.0.3 with iText 1.3.0 jar which still errored.
Is this a known bug
or is this the expected result?
Any help will be
greatly appreciated.
