You are using SimpleRegistrationForm.pdf in sample example. Just wanted
to know that how you have created this PDF?
The code is in the tutorial:
http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/examples/com/lowagie/examples/forms/SimpleRegistrationForm.java
Note that there's a class FieldPositioningEvents in the CVS that allows
you to do some more accurate positioning.
Through iTEXT or Acrobat Writer?
Even for the book I use iText to create all the forms used in the examples.
Is there any way to know the field name
of AcroForm without running any application. Like we can know about this
in case of HTML by doing view source.
When I open the source of a PDF file, I can see what fields are
inside just like you when you read the source of an HTML file.
Of course it takes some training to be able to do this.
It's easier to write a small program: see
