You are using SimpleRegistrationForm.pdf in sample example. Just wanted to know that how you have created this PDF? Through iTEXT or Acrobat Writer? Is there any way to know the field name of AcroForm without running any application. Like we can know about this in case of HTML by doing view source.

But I am told that you can also use iText in combination with JPedal. I think there's a tutorial on jpedal.org somewhere about it. The basic idea is that you use JPedal to visualize your PDF and JPedal uses iText to add the AcroFields you define in the JPedal GUI.
