iText supports Type0, Type1, Type3, TrueType, Compact FontFormat,
OpenType, CIDFonts,...
You can use afm file, ttf, ttc, otf, CJK, user-defined fonts...
iText has support for Hebrew, Arabic and Asian fonts.
I have no idea why somebody would think that iText only supports 4 types
of fonts!
