Of course there is.
There's an object PdfFormField that can be used to create

Search for the object TextField.
It can be used to create a PdfFormField object.

I have written two chapters about it for my book,
but I can't disclose them (the book will be out in the
fall). You'll have to do with the chapters that are
under construction for the moment.
