But I can't declare that AcroFields.Item item variable, can I? It says
that "member Item not found in AcroFields"...

On the other hand, the book says "AcroFields.Item item =
form.getFieldItem("person.preferred");" as a part of an example, so...
what's the matter with that declaration? I think I've imported the
correct packages.

I'm afraid I'm stuck in this problem!
