I apologize for being so literal and persnickety but that does not answer
my 2nd question, which was not about what Acrobat is free to do but about
the meaning of that entry in the font panel, no more no less. What do each of:
Font: Helvetica vs. Font: Arial
Actual Font: ArialMT Actual Font: Helvetica
mean? If this was a case of replacement of Arial by something else one
would expect the latter, not the former.
Anyway, you say the problem is that the font is not embedded but how can I
embed the font in this scenario? I know how to do that when calling
FontFactory directly but when it is called under the cover by PdfGraphics2D
how can I make sure that it fetches the right font and embeds it? In this
scenario since I am not calling getFont myself how could I pass it the
EMBEDDED flag?
