I'm not saying that this won't work for me, I'm just saying that I don't yet understand how it applies to my specific need, or how to move forward implementing it. It makes sense that manually merging these files using Acrobat would help me gain an understanding of the feature, but unfortunately I can't seem to find a way to download Acrobat for my OS (OS X 10.5.3). Do you think you might be able to illustrate your suggestion with some code or pseudocode? BTW, it'd be perfectly acceptable, for my needs, if the PDFs get flattened during this process - as long as the values in the XFA forms are preserved. Thanks again!
