I'm new to all this, I didn't really know that there were two
different kinds of XFA forms. Our form starts out as an XDP template
created by LiveCycle Designer, and then populated by ColdFusion using
XML data - I think. Murphy's Law tells me that must be what you mean
by "dynamic" - and therefore it sounds like iText won't be able to
flatten this PDF.

At this point, the only options I can think of (other than switching
to conventional PDF forms) are to either license some LiveCycle
component to do this for me, or try to programmatically "print" the
PDF to a virtual PDF printer, as a hackish way to flatten it. Unless
I'm missing something?
